1. Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology - Via E Learning

You will learn: The theory at your own pace

2. Level 3 Advanced Training -

Dates -20th - 23rd Feb 2012

You will Learn:
  • Incorporate different resistance and cardiovascular training methods into an exercise programme
  • Construct and implement short term,medium and long-term exercise programmes (periodisation)
  • Plan one-to-one sessions
  • Maintain health, safety and welfare in a variety of fitness environments, including the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults
  • Programme safe and effective exercise for a range of clients, the health benefits of physical activity and the importance of healthy eating
  • Communicate with clients effectively, and motivate clients to adhere to an exercise programme
  • Apply the principles of nutrition to support client goals as part of an exercise and physical activity programme
  • Design, manage, and adapt a personal training programme with apparently healthy adults of all ages
  • Deliver exercise and physical activity as part of a programme for apparently healthy adults of all ages
3. Level 3 Fitness Testing -

Dates - 5th & 6th March 2012

You will learn:
  • How to analyse and assess clients fitness, blood pressure and body composition
  • Analyse posture
  • Assess muscular strength and endurance
  • Assess flexibility
  • Aerobic capacity
  • Pre exercise screening

4. Level 3 Nutrition for Physical Activity-

Dates - 7th, 8th March 2012

You will Learn:
  • Eating disorders and prevention
  • Sports nutrition concepts
  • Psychology of weight loss
  • Energy systems/Digestive systems
5. Level 3 Outdoor Fitness -

Date - 9th March 2012

You will learn:
  • To adapt exercises outside/bootcamp
  • Plan exercises in limited spaces and use portable equipment
6. Level 3 Sports Conditioning- Via Distance Learning

You will learn:
  • Analyse and break down sporting activities
  • Utilising a range of sport specific training methods
  • Plan activities for sports/events
7. Level 3 Business Skills -

Date -10th March 2012

What you will learn:
  • Prepare a Business Plan
  • Consumer behaviour
  • Promoting your business
8. Level 3 Exercise Referral -

Dates -19th - 21st March 2012
What you will learn:
  • Signs and symptoms of specific conditions
  • The implications and effects of medications and conditions
 Assessment:

Each module will be assessed separately, when you are ready via:
  • Theory papers/eAssessment
  • Portfolio of evidence
  • Practical assessments
  • Complete an online application form, making your deposit or full payment
  • You will receive access to your online learning of the theory if required
  • Tutor support via email or telephone
  • Training resources will be sent in the post
  • Attend training days, return for assessments when you are ready
You will achieve:
  • CYQ/YBFIT Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training
  • 20 REPs points
